Trying To Find A Game..
Alright.. my mind may be fuzzy on this.. I haven't played the game in YEARS.
If I recall correctly, it's an incredibly old DOS game, in whihc you play a man just going through different rooms and collecting.. stuff? I dunno. I remember you had to press a whole bunch of switches that were connected (via wire-type things) to different traps. You could also create your own rooms. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? |
Can you tell us a bit more about this game please.
Was it adventure, rpg, strategy etc? Was it top-down view or side-on view? :max: |
Sounds more like a puzzle game to me. Chip's Challenge, perhaps?
|
ehm.. Jetpack perhaps????
|
It was top-down, and adventure, I believe. Something keeps telling me it's title had the word "castle" in it, but I'm not sure.
Thanks for bearing with me; I know I'm not being much help :) |
crystal castles? Castlevania?
|
I don't think it's any of those..
It has INCREDIBLY basic graphics.. like.. the kind you would see on an Apple //e :[img]http://www.abandonia.com/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /> I don't even want to know why I'm trying to find this game so bad; maybe it's just to relives a part of my childhood, I dunno. |
And you're 100% sure it was a DOS game, right?
|
I'm not sure about this, but could it be Holotz's Castle?
http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=5262 Castle Adventure http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=3953 Or Castle Of The Winds? http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=4403 :max: |
It's none of those.. but thanks for all your help, anyways.
I'm 99.9% sure it was a DOS game (Though, I think I was 10 at the time.. it might have been on an IBM machine..) And there's pretty much absolutely no story whatsoever.. at least, I don't think there is. I'm being pretty obtuse with this whole thing, I know, but thank you again for bearing with me. |
