So there's this competition where student film editors recut movie trailers to make them appear to have a completely different plot line.

This is the one that won first place.

It is freaking hilarious, especially if you've seen the original movie.

Rewriting movie plots to make an entirely different film.

I have to admit, that did strike me as fairly awesome.

The Titanic was turned into a horror film, but it didn't work too well because some of the shots from that were so horriffic anyway.

The originial Parent Trap they renamed The Apparent Trap, and made it about the two girls becoming lesbians and trying to find acceptance...It was really bizzare.

Psycho was turned into a love story too.

I still think The Shining is the best though.

Most of all I was surprised by the voice. When Jack's voice says that part about the stepfather...

BTW - I still liked the Simpsons version better (it was among one of the halloween specials).
