The game I downloaded from your site (ufo:enemy unknown) is running fine, but the problem is, that it's only using about a third of my screen (on my laptop). So basicly the whole game is in a small square in the middle. Is there a pach for this or something?

I'd appreciate some help,
thanx.

You could try changing the resolution of your monitor. Old games usually take 800X600 screen wide (someone correct me if I'm wrong please).

usually smaller actually.
would try 640x480 if I were you. (which is even large for most dos games)

For UFO: Enemy unknown 1152*864 works good
When you Run games in DOSbox try ALT+Enter

is there anyway to increase resolution in full window mode? the small window graphics are excellent but its not enjoyable to play in a small screen. it feels like gameboy :P

window mode shows original pixels from games, so width/height of window is width/height of game so you can decrase your desktop resolution or switch to full screen

It's a matter of taste Ted. I personnaly prefer pixel graphics over large, detailled and anti-aliased graphics...

I don't know of a way to go over this problem, since the "problem" is inherent to the fact the game is really old by computer standards...
