Uhm.. yeah.. sure Christ wasn't born on December 25th.. we call it CHRISTmas for some other reason... and the bible dosen't say anything about it.. no, no...

actually, the bible DOESN'T say anything about the date he was born.

We celebrate it the 25th because the catholic church raped the holiday from the Pagans, kept the same date, and called it CHRISTmas (catholicized it.) They actually did that with most pagan holidays, because it was easier to ease people into the church or something like that.

But basically, most major holidays are originally Pagan that the catholic church changed the name and meanings (Halloween for example)

yeah the vatikan stole christmas............ THe Catholic Church Is the GRINCH omgomggomgomgomg..... and they stole it fromthe vikings or pagans or whatever.....

actually, I think they stole it from the Romans who honored Saturn. The winter solstice, by their calender, fell on the 25th. The festival was called Saturnalia. They glorified past days when the god Saturn ruled.

I'm not trying to be controversial, but anyone that claims the Catholics invented Christmas and most of their holidays is mainly saying that in ignorance.
