I could never work out how to wrangle with the parser -- but type a certain F-word to get a very friendly response.

xyzzy?
Twice as much nothing happens (Data General's 32-bit AOS/VS) Sweet! thanks for uploading this, been looking for it for a while! |

|
Dont blame a game for being shitty now.
It was made in another era when everything playable were superb. And this game is an antique from the late 70-s + probably the first adventure/RPG |
As far as I know, it actually IS the first parser-adventure.
played it on Linux a while..... :bye: |
It is a classic, sure to appeal to those who played it on teletypes in the 70's or on Compuserve's BBS.
I can certainly understand why it seems tame today, but it's competition was so much worse. Wait a minute, it didn't have competition, it was in a class by itself! It's only contemporary was Zork which was based partially on Colossal Cave. That ran on the MIT mainframe and was eventually brought to personal computer by Infocom, although it was split into three different parts |
I would be very thankful if someone could write a solution for this game.

Hello,
I've just downloaded the text based game called 'Adventure'. I've also downloaded the intrepreter software called WinFrotz and DOSbox but I just can't work out how to start the game. Each time I choose 'Open new story' in Winfrotz I get a 'fatal code' error. Can anyone please advise?! Thank you. |
I've just tested it and worked fine... so how are you doing it? have you extracted all the files in the "WinFrotz.zip" compressed achive to a new folder? give us details.
