Yes my new PDA the iPaq HX4700 has arrived today. The screen is beautifull. I'm installing some software on it now and I'm going to be trying it out after work tonight. Just wanted to say I'm thrilled.

Isn't there a specific forum for talking about this subject, Sir Niles? ;)

Congratulations, anyway. May your screens stay intact, and your power supply inexchaustible.

Yes there is but it is in the technical section for a reason and this hardly qualifies as technical also since you did not berate me for the last topic about PDA's I posted in this forum you cannot do so now ;) :bleh: .

Thanks for your wishes btw.

The iPaq HX4700 should be something like...

Yep, that is the one.

I'm very glad I bought it. I can now read PDF files without scrolling (making PDF reading a usefull option which it was not on qVGA).

While reading an ebook (txt file) I have more then three times the screen realestate I used to have while still remaining readable. I have not yet tried text editing seriously but if I have about the same results I can now comfortably do this in an, almost, A4 environment.

Video watching is breathtaking. The higher resolution is clearly noticable and more importantly I can now watch high resolution video's without hickups due to the faster CPU.

I have not tried installing games yet but I will get round to that some other day.

In short I'm thrilled.

Good to see you happy again. When you posted that you sold your PDA and couldn't get a new one, your avatar looked like he was going to cry, but now he's all snobby again :bleh: .
Anyway, I wish I had a PDA like that.
