OK, something really odd is happening with my iPod shuffle...
I can put every song on it except Brothers in Arms from Dire Straits... The biggest problem is that I have several versions of this song (one is shorter, one longer, normal mp3 as all the other songs), and the iPod shows me it's on it, but when I want to play it, it won't work...(it's like it doesn't exist on it) I really don't get the problem, it must be that it hates the song or something, because the song normally plays in iTunes for me... And I tried many times but it just doesn't work, it's really really weird... |
Well whaddaya know, an I-pod with taste :D
But seriously, you could try converting it to another format and see if that works  |
Well I guess I could, but they're encoded (all versions) in the same encoding as all the other songs I have...
I really, really don't get it  |
Silly option perhaps, but have you tried renaming the song?
|
I am seriously thinking about that, and I'll try it tommorow, cause I'm too tired now...
And just tfor the record, I don't use autofill or shuffle or anything, I just create a playlist and put it on my iPod... |
Did you rip the songs?....
Try changing the tag3 too. |
or try recording from sound output while playng song on computer if all the conversions fails
|
Now I've put both versions of the song on the iPod, and one of them works... wehee... (not sure which since it's the last and the first song on the playlist...

Dire Straights kicks behind!
Anyway, my dad has an Ipod. Apple is usually pretty stable... I dunno what could be the problem. |
