starcraft! dont know why...but it was between one of the crafts, and i thought the starcraft storyline captured your interests throughout...plus the heroes and their voices were cool...especially that guy...what was his name? from the terrans...AOE was nice too.

Of the ones up there, C&C by FAR. But if Total War had been up there, my vote would definitely go to it.

Another good one is Seven Kingdoms 2.

Age of Empires 2 is also great...
