It's been killing me for a while... I clearly have the melody (and what I think are the lyrics) in my head, but can't find the real title of the song.
It's a swinging song (but made in the 80s I think). There are a few younger male vocals (sounds almost like a barbershop quartet), but it seems to be a pop song. The lyrics are something like: It's a moon-light shadow A moon-light shadow Moonlight shadow On the run It's very vocal (almost a-capella from what I remember), there's just something like fingers snaping in the background. Everytime I try to look something like this up, I get the lyrics to Mike Oldfield (but this song is deffinetly not his - and definetly not Moonlight Shadow - *carried away, by the moonlight shadow...*). Can anybody help? EDIT (Oh and it's not the Blue Night by Michael Learns to Rock either). It could possibly be even Blue night instead of Moon light... |
It seems to be Blue Night Shadow from Two Of Us.
Here are the lyrics: Here she comes on the run she's so young she's so fine here to tease not to please she'll say no every time she's only gonna break your heart only gonna break your heart only gonna play gonna tear your heart apart she's a blue night shadow a blue night shadow blue night shadow on the run she's a blue night shadow a blue night shadow what you gonna do feel the heat in the street shadows dance on the wall her suspence so intense getting through your defence she's only gonna break your heart only gonna break your heart only gonna play gonna tear your heart apart |
