And if you watched it, you might wanna state who your favorite character was - mine was major Charles Emerson Wintchester the 3rd.

most of young people (some of my friends too=P) dont get the humor in mash, but i think it was great
my favourites were those 2 guys who made all the crazy things (i realy dont remember thir names=]) |
You had Benjamin Franklin Peirce (aka Hawkeye) - in all 11 seasons (the dark haired doctor).
The other guy changed. In the first 3 seasons you had John Malkentyre (aka Trapper) - curly hair, had a wife, but cheated on her a lot. Later on you had BJ Honeycut - a sweet lovable family man, who'd never chat on his wife. All three of them were playing tricks on Frank Burns (mostly - although others were a target as well), but after the 4th season Burns was gone. Charles Wintchester came in his place - and although they played tricks on him as well, he wasn't a punching bag and got back at them on several occasion. He was also superior to them in several ways (inferior in a few as well). |
good to know

I remember it vaguely, since they aired it when I was a kid, I know though that my parents liked it very much...

It was/is a great series (and movie). There was a lot of dark humour in there and the tragic of war was always there. :ok: for M*A*S*H 4077!

Never seen it, but I bet I could have liked it. I like many old tv-series.
|
Try and get your hands on it - you won't be sorry.

My favorite character was B.J. Hunnicutt. He had a good sense of humor but a quiet demeanor and a good family man. Hawkeye comes in at a close second. I must say this is probably one of my favoirte series.
