So here is the mighty question. Which came first - the chicken or the egg?

I'd like to hear anyone's opinion on the matter that is willing to express it. Personally I believe the egg had come first, thus the chicken being a mutation of some kind. But not everyone thinks likes this.

There is a link here about it. It involves someone doing an experiment to find the answer  . Absolutly hilarious. Read the hate mail.

The egg came first!!! That's because God dropped an egg. From his arse.

Uhm.

That's my theory, I haven't got any better one... :D

The answer depends on what kind of egg we are talking about. About a chicken egg or any kind of egg?
Anyway I saw an exhibition about birds evolution and I read there that birds are the living flying dinosaurs. Because of that my answer will be egg too.

The answer is surely an egg.
Being birds a mutation from flying reptiles, and seen reptiles make eggs, thus birds came from eggs.

A chicken is an egg's way of making another egg, it's as simple as that.

well... you should!

The Chicken came first. There would be no chicken egg if the chicken was not there first to lay it.

Simple.

And who created the dinosaurs the chickens came from? Thus the chicken also wasn't the first one. Both weren't.
