we got two ghosts here. one of em is a boy who feel out of the window in the early 90's. he was aged 19. the other is a girl who was raped then stabbed to death in the bathroom in the 1970's. the street i live on has ghost tours. i walked out my front door when the guide was talking about our building. the look i got from the punters was classic.
this street has a bit of a reputation for hauntings. where my building is is just next to the original crossroads of the town. we are also next to a civil war battlesite. an orphange a few doors down burned to the ground in the 1920's. only 2 little girls survived.
also at the end of the road people sometimes see or hear ghostly horses as during the civil war the cavaliers had lost the battle for the town so they killed all the horses in the town so the roundheads couldent steal them to give there messangers time to warn the surrounding villages.
on top of all this the street was heavily shelled by the impirial german navy during world war 1. you can see the repaired damage on a lot of the buildings here. a layer of newer bricks towards the top of the buildings.
way to deal with ghosties is just to not let them scare you. meiditate upon love and they pretty soon give up on hassling you. all they seem to want is fear. you dont give them, fear and its more effective than any exorcism. just not as dramatic.
i worked at a haunted kfc a couple of years ago. the cellar of that place was used as a temp store for the bodies of merchant seamen and people who were on the docks defence. used to get an odd vibe around midnight.. some of the girls would refuse to be in the building late at night.
