The state name means land by the [Connecticut] river in the Mohegan(?) language, the State song is "Yankee Doodle," and the colonial charter for Connecticut was written here and hidden in the Charter Oak from the evil British marauders who raped and pillaged in the colonies up until they were finally booted out once and for all with their funny accents by the noble American soldiers. The infamous bootlicking and backstabbing traitor Benedict Arnold was born in Connecticut, and he was credited with raping more American women than any three British soldiers of the time.

My county is New London, and my hometown is Norwich. The words on the Connecticut flag mean "He Who Transplants Still Sustains."
