Yep it almost always crashed for me after all tracks of the platinum cup were down and the credits were about to load. I found the trick was (sometimes, also not always) not to unlock the big Panda "bear" car before the cup isn't won and the data saved after quitting the game. Still it crashes even without the Panda car very often.
There're only two sure options to win it - to try again and again until you have it, or to download this cheat (unlocks all cars and tracks) at
DLH. I prefer to try again and again, that way I have at least some fun and a feeling of have won the fair, earned way.
