Actually there is a game in development that allows you to do that and it's free. The game's called Roma Victor and you can look forward to everything that you said koen. But you will have to wait till somewhere in the 2q of 2005 for it to come out.(it's not completly free though you do have to buy it but it's free after you buy it. Cost's 20 euros. set in roman times. And it doesent have things like goblins and the like. rather just animals and humans. but dont forget the ability of war which allows battle of about a hundred men
