Found that if you're fast, it's possible to finish the last quest of the game at level 1 (Note it helps to play as a faster-moving class with more health, and you'll need to have played the level before to know what you're doing):

First level: Exit the starting room, go right and into the warp door that leads you to near where you can get Vindicator. From here, go left (you'll cross a staircase and throne room in the process) and open the door near the water. To your direct right, go through the door, run past the death knight, through the next door into the open area with the end-of-level orbs, and open the door and run past the warlock.

Second level: Use the secret door on the opposite site of the room with the four elf archers and run along the long corridor (you'll need to push past an elf near the middle point), then cross across the U-shaped room and open the secret door. In the large slippery area, look around on the left side of the wall until you find the level exit.

Third level: Run forward, past the room with the four elf archers, turn right, navigate through the black octagonal pillars and take the elevator up to the room with the giant yellow archer. Walk on the raised platform in the center of the room, then run back to the area where the four elf archers were - the door opposite of the room they're in will be open. Press the switch on the left side of the room (you will likely need to heal a few times here) and then run back to where the yellow archer is and exit.

Fourth level: Enter the big area where the gryphons and a large central water area is; cross to the left side at the bottom of the balcony area with the warlocks. Go through a series of unlocked doors until you find a room with sea monsters in lava in the corner; jump over the monsters, take the giant key, go back the way you came and open the locked door.

Fifth level: This one takes a few tries over and is pretty frustrating. In the area with the sea monsters, edge along the right and left sides and use the elevators to activate the switches, then go into the huge open lava-like area and take the elevator up. Equip the regeneration ring, flight amulet, and take the healing potion. Lure the two dragons away from the cave that's opened up (you will need to zigzag a lot and make sure they don't get close as they move faster than you can at this point if they're trying to melee you), then go left inside the cave.

Hug the right wall until you reach an area with a lava waterfall (drink one of the red potions and take the two white potions on the right side alcove), then take the cave on the other side of the room to reach the treasure room that contains the orb. You'll need to take both the orb and the green key, but there's two dragons in the room so you'll need to fly in circles around the bottom of the room until the dragons are far away enough that you can get the time to pick up the orb and the key. You'll likely burn several potions here.

Now return to where the other two dragons were (you'll likely need to push past one, or both, of them) and quickly activate the grey block wall on the right side of the cave mouth which will open up. Use the switch to lower the diamonds and amulets, heal up, 'hold' the green amulet (which makes you take only small amounts of damage from the dragon fireballs), then push past the dragons again and enter the central path then step on the purple teleporter to finish the game.

This can be somewhat useful to test out other character types quickly as they'll instantly level to level 6, get the arguably most useful amulet and sword in the game (that I know of) and get around 100 platinum in gold from selling items assuming you collect the bare minimum equipment.

Also, can anyone list the various secret items that are easily missed? I found a "small bouncy ball" on one level and a pair of Pyrinium platemail legs in secretish places, for example.
