I find screenshots taken by the game to be very much too dark, I usually have to edit them. Actually in the game I have the gamma correction above par, that's probably it. I guess it depends on the lighting in your room, but it's all too dark.



Nope that's from the core game, Ald-ruhn is one of the capitals of Vvanderfell. The original game has only this island, not Mournhold etc.

I've just started a game myself, with both expansions, and some mods. Yoga, the game looks even nicer with mods:
