There's no need to stop posting here just because one of the members made a remark you didn't like. There's a wonderful little thing you can do - ignore. Be a better human, don't reply to it. Simple. The forum would also get less lively without your posts.
And what's that strange tendency to compare everything that doesn't match your point of view to inquisition? Everyone has a right to his own opinion, right?

I have to agree with Smiling Spectre, if it comes to compatibility to Windows, no other OS has better compatibility than Windows itself. That's a logical fact that should be pretty obvious. That said, with a bit technical knowledge there are other OSs which might be still better, as in more secure, more anonymous, less known (no viruses for it) etc.
Also, usually nothing stands in the way of installing two OSs simultaneously, so for strictly Windows-only programs you have Windows, and for other things like going online you have something else.
