Sierra, purely because of nostalgia. When i was little, all the adventure games I played were sierra, exept MM and later DOTT. A few years later I got into lucasarts, and now I can't tell which is better, but I'll say sierra cos of yeah, nostalgia.
And from sierra comes Space Quest III. the greatest adventure game ever made.
