There are a few things I find odd...
First off - how come none of your languages has duality?
In Slovene we have more then just singular and plural - we also have the dual form - which is used to refer just to two people (in English or German there is only one word that has such conotation - BOTH/BEIDE. It is refering to two of a kind - in slovene it's everywhere). I know most languages don't have this form anymore.
Another thing (mostly applies to America): why do you put tabasco or mustard on everything? If you like spicy things how come you dislike garlick and horse-radish?
Importaint difference (don't know if it applies to all parts of America): Why don't women get payed sickleave for children? Some friends of mine were not able to stay home after birth (on maternity leave). In Slovenia you get 9 months (after the birth and sick leave everytime a child is ill - all is payed). Most European countries have even more (or a progressive scale - up to 5 payed years for the 4th child...). In US (at least the women I know) you have to quit workl to stay home with a child?
BTW - I've started a topic that might be of some use. It was called
Your Colture
