![]() You have to edit the supertet.cfg file with a hex editor to get the sound.
The first config I used didn't even have a button for music. The second had the button but the music was always off. Edit the first line of the supertet.cfg file from this: Code:
00000000 04 00 0A 1A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 Code:
00000000 04 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 |

![]() If you have the music choice on and you pop the soundcard out,the program
kicks into this message: Super Tetris cannot find the adlib card 1.pc speaker 2.adlib 3.sound blaster 4.roland mt32 5.tandy 3 voice 6.tandy dac +tandy 3 voice 7.roland+sound blaster 8. exit to dos select sound card so by editing the supertet.cfg you can match what you have. 04 00 00 is pc speaker 04 00 01 is adlib 04 00 02 is sound blaster 04 00 03 is roland mt32 and so on and so forth. I did edit to 02 for sound blaster but the program crashed after a few minutes. I will stick with the adlib choice for stability. 04 00 01 |

![]() There is no sound card that matches the original supertet.cfg,
so the program was probably crippled before it was zipped. |
