I have a problem with settlers (AKA serf city)
when playing in dosbox the game freezes and horizontal lines appear. I have to shut down dosbox. THis happens after a minute or two of play.
Also in SVGA mode the cursor flashes when moving and is nearly impossible to see. |

Switch Core to Normal in Dosbox.conf.
