Default AB and ISO 8601

Abandonia does not conform to ISO 8601.

According to ISO 8601, timestamps must be in the order of biggest to smallest.

Ex: YY-MM-DD

However, timestamps in AB look like this:

MM-DD-YY

Sorry but I don't care. That's the traditional English format, long before the ISO geeks found themselves with so much time on their hands that they had to make that up.

DD-MM-YYYY is the preferred over here in Blighty. ie. 14/03/2009... why would you ever put the month before the day?

In fact, American more often than not use YY-MM-DD.

Here in Québec, we use DD-MM-YY. That's really the most logical way to write a date up... Never understood why people want to write it any other way.

Oh, and about the ISO thing... Is there actually someone who cares about that?

The site also does not conform to all EEO, OSHA, and ISO 9000 requirements.

We should have a ISO 9000 audit.

Geez, wouldn't it be easier to allow the user to choose how he/she wants the time displayed? That way, everyone will be satisfied.
