![]() I made this simple performance comparison using Quake's and DOOM's timedemo features.
https://youtu.be/dcygzqsGVc4 The result: if you want to play Quake on Linux with DOSBox use the 32bit version even on a 64bit OS. I tested some Build engine games aswell, got about 10 frames/s more with the 32bit DOSBox.
