![]() As the topic says, I'm trying to run it under Win2k.
After I run the setup (which only manges to install into an already existing folder) the game asks me to wait for a Video config... from then on nothing else happens. So well, is it even possible or do I need XP with its compatibility modes? |

![]() I used to have it (DS 2) and just d/l'ed it. Spent awhile trying to install it under XP; turns out the Compat. tab doesn't help and you have to manually change gfx to 8-bit(VGA) and res. to 640x480
Anyway I think it's a dud ISO since it won't read beyond the title screen and it won't run setup when mounted. good luck to you tho... the games probably cheap on ebay but who wants to go through all that |

![]() I have WinXP and ran the game with no problems - I changed the res. to 640x480 (as mentioned above) and used VDMsound. It worked absolutley perfectly (except that my copy is minus the cutscenes) it's just a shame it turned out to be such a terrible game regardless of actually working imho
