![]() Ok, I have a laptop. And the screen is getting really disgusting. I've had it for around 3 years, and I've never cleaned it. So, does anybody know how's the best way? I'm afraid of doing something wrong
soooo..... what should I do? Using a dry rag doesn't work.... :help: |

![]() Disgusting how? Is it greasy or dry hard shite on it? There might be official cleaning products in computer stores (?). Dunno.. just guessing. I think the best way of keeping your screen clean is not touching it (really?) and cleaning it with dust-magnetic-gathering-cleaning-thingie..

![]() I don't know why, but you should clean it when the pc is turned off. As for what products to use, I really don't know. I'll know something more later.

![]() You can use the stuff you use for cleaning your glasses
Just turn the computer off and let it rest a bit before cleaning.

![]() You can use grease and oil to clean it.
I used glass cleaner and now I am using glasses cleaner (one from RXoptical). I never shout down any of my laptops for cleaning (I used about 5 of them) and never had any problem with the screens. Don’t know what difference can make on laptop, as it does not work on the same principles as TV or CRT monitor. |
