when i played all of those wonderful games in the good old days, i remember
that i've often used a joystick.

now with dosbox i now and then think that the controls are a bit complicated, using
the keybord and mouse. of course, playing adventures and rpgs is no problem
at all, but taking control in one of those action games is quite problematic.

do you use a joystick in dosbox? or how would you play action games like
desert strike or last ninja?

Just downloaded and set up DosBOX and it seemed to configure my joystick automatically.
Well, I actually use a PS2 control pad via a USB/PSX converter, but it should make no difference.

I even tested it in Red Baron, and it worked without a hitch. k:

Dosbox works fine with my sidewinder joystick.
