Well I now our little pixel guy but shouldnt we make something more? Or change him, add legs and hands? The second thing is...
If you decide to change him, can we place a scene to every game section? I mean something like this: the mascot with a gun on the action part, or Indianna Jones look on the adventure section.

I can draw something if you give me the idea. Then make a scene for every section.

So what do u think?

This could work. Most sites just have a small picture for each section and thats boring, well HotU does, don't know about others. I like this idea. k:


But ideas for mascots is probably something I'm not too good at. But I'll give it some thought. k:


EDIT Perhaps take the main character from the most popular game in each section and use that as the mascots.

Well I don't remember must have been before my time. But although they are nice drawings, it would be too complex for the simplicity of the site. What would be needed would be a simple pixel art. Someone made a small pixel art of Indianna Jones a while back during the craze of pixel art, I can't remember who it was, I think it was Void. But I think that one would be perfect for Yamcha's idea.

I don't know why Kosta removed my drawings. He never said, but they worked. The only thing I would love was to see more fan art from you guys.

I think the "pixel-guy" is a really good one. A Logo has to be simple and easy to recognize. It's very good to use the main logo with different themes for different seasons (like the newyear theme). This makes the site appear more alive (and prevents it from looking like a ghostsite)

well if we scan tom's ugly mug we can put it on the site and say 'here's the site's face' not that anyone would like it... much...
