Unhappy Some old Windows games that won't start:

I own a some of old Windows 95\98, that won't run no matter what I do.
The games are:
Star-Up 2000: Moby Page
John Saul's Blackstone Chronicles: Moby Page

The problems:
Startup: used to run it okay on a 98, some video problems but playable.
On XP it starts but immediately the screen go's black and it freezes along with the PC, and nothing will get it to work. I have to restart the Computer.
I tried it on a windows 7, it works for a little bit, but then shuts down/crashes to desktop.

Blackstone Chronicles: Starts on XP, runs very slowly then crashes to desktop when I try to do anything, error messages tell me that its having problems with .dll files.

Hoping that some of you know these games, and/or have some suggestions.
