![]() We all pretty well knew that Win98 have excellent DOS compatibility. I always tell people in the Troubleshooting section when they ask why DOSBox is not working for Win98 and the quoted guide in the second post of the "look here first" pinned thread in the same forum is especialy made for Win98 also.

![]() Try pure DOS mode. Some games will not have sound (some Ultima´s) in a Win environment or will not be able to open at full screen. That´s why some need to use more memory and you have complete control in DOS.
Use this boot disk to boot in pure DOS: Boot disk and run the games from the command line. Follow the instructions to have your video drivers loaded for DOS and have more speed and compatibility with the OS the games were made for. |
