![]() When playing Indycar 2 the game suddenly locks up after usually less than one minute. Screens goes black and sound ends in a never ending loop and I have to reset the computer.
I'm running it with VDMSound though XP. I've tried with Dosbox but don't have the necesarry CPU power to get decent framerate. So I'm stuck with VDMS for now. Problem is that I don't know if it is graphics or sounds that is causing the problem. I have switched of all graphics in the game and I get the idea that it takes a little longer before it crashes, but difficult to say. I've tried diffrent SB versions, no effect. The last inputs in the VDMS log is: @W - 00:48:13.800 - SBController HandleTransfer: DMA updates too infrequent (unable to keep up with desired transfer rate), requesting boost @W - 00:48:14.000 - SBController set8BitIRQ(): an IRQ is already pending Does this has anything to do with it? If so how to solve it? It's a great game and I would really like to be able to play it without the crashes Thanks in advance. /Attis |
