![]() I was JUST thinking about this tonight while watching a movie. When I came upstairs to check out abandonia, I saw that you added Tiberium Dawn (I thought it was Tiberium Sun?).. talk about coincidence. Anyways... for the past few months I have been trying so hard to get the original Red Alert installed. I used to spend hours upon hours playing this game. It's far better than any other game they've made.
I've got the CD's, but something is wrong. They're not playing. The CD's may be too scratched up, or they just might not work on XP, I dunno. Is it abandoware yet? |

![]() Red alert is still openly available.
I bought it recently in a DVD-box. It cost a bit more than a plastic ruler so its not as if the price is outrageous.

![]() Hmm, ok. Well... if anyone has it, do you know if it works on XP for you? I looked around and supposedly it does.
I'll probably end up buying this DVD set since it'd be good to keep a clean copy for such a classic game. And the original C&C is better than Red Alert 1!? You're crazy. Red Alert 2, now that sucked. Generals is nice... but although it's graphically amusing, its gameplay just isn't the same =(. |

I enjoyed both of them, but I used to play C&C for hours while RA didn't give me the same feelings |
