![]() If this is the same Amulets and Armor a friend and I played years back(The screenies tell me it IS).... then your neglecting to take note of the multiplayer option. It is playable over IPX protocol. The multiplayer option was the only feature that kept us coming back for more. After all, isnt an adventure best in the company of friends?
Enjoy multiplaying! |

![]() Multiplayer? I didn't notice there's a multiplayer.
Now that I'm reading the review again, I can see there's much I can change there to make it better. Oh well, it was my first review. I'll learn from the mistakes. ~Calus |

1. download DosBox 0.65 (not 0.63 or else it will lag in third step), and, i'm not sure, but i think you need windows XP (at least i had those...) 2. run this game through DosBox ([mount c c:\AA enter] [c: enter] [AA enter], etc....) 3. turn CPU cycles on 14000 (ctrl F12 to increace by 500, ctrl F11 to decreace (differently, for example: if you have 100 cpu cycles, it may decreace 26, if you have 14000 cpu cycles, it may decreace by 1436...)) and run the game. a-simple |

Runs excellent on my CPU. EDIT: During the first quest, just before the main exit from the second map, you find a parchment in which someone (probably the poor member of nearby body) mentions not to enter the grove at night because you may encounter a banshee. Well, you are a brave adventurer and a curious one, so you would probably want to ignore his warnings. Just wait until the game time reaches night hours and start the first quest. What's that? Wolves? Banshee? Ahhh...! |

![]() Hi guys I just started playing this game. Finished the Visions of Jugurtha Quest (the last druid was f***ing hard to beat, he got very strong poison). Currently I am slowly moving through the second quest (final map already, the one with 5 statues of knights in the water).
I hope somebody will be able to help me in the future if I get stuck - there's simply NOT A SINGLE ONE walkthrough for this game on the internet. Falconis - nice screens! Did you hex edited your saves or was it through a normal gameplay? EDIT: Finally found the goddamn necklace. There were 3 doors in the labyrinth in the big room with teleporter fountain that I simply couldn't open. Just after beating this level it hit me that I could use the Knock spell. Was there anything worth behind them? Oh well, on to Elmore's Retreat (6 maps ! WTF?!?) BTW Zaru did you beat A&A? EDIT 2: Whoa, I am in the almost final quest (with Priam's soldiers) and how the hell do you kill the god at the end? I can't even run up to him and swing my sword at him - he is flying away from me, shooting deadly stone missiles that deal around 25 damage each. Uh... anybody killed him? Help. |
