Castlevania: Circle of the moon is fun - BUT Aria of Sorrow is much, much better IMHO.
I know, but at the moment I am playing these. After that I will play other two Castelvania games.

@efthimios - I like to have option of many games, and neither Nintendo DS or PSP has that. GBA works great, only what I might do is to get GC with GBA addapter.

And if you like puzzle games, Mario vs. Donkey Kong is greatest. There is a lot of levels that you have to complete to finish the game, and to find out that there are advanced levels.

I've always noticed that nintendo products are quite durable for some reason, I remember reading a bunch of stories of sad stories about some nintendo products, like leaving a game in the wash and such, some were amazing...

Well I haven't broken my GBA yet, but it is in pretty bad shape. The right and down cursor buttons don't work properly, the screen is scratched to the extent that there are some dialogues I can't read and if I turn it on after it being off for a day or so, it will restart itself for the first 5 minutes of being on. I don't think it will last much longer, but I will buying a DS soon. And I've played a game called Shaman King which in my opinion is a much better game then Castlevania.

its possible it was killed during the wash, if it had batteries in it. but yeah if you get anything drenched, you'd need to take it apart and dry it out, in the hope that it could work again.

my old skool gba is one of my fave time-killing machines in the laundromat! if i dont feel like reading a book.

favourite games;

GOLF - (gameboy) from 1989 !!!!! still one of the best golf games

QUARTH (gameboy) - almost as good as the original arcade version

A blow-dryer (low heat) and on towels for a day or two usualy reduces the risks.
Same way with cellphones.. The one i "gave a bath" is still alive 4 years after the incident.

Most important thou, as said earlier, CUT ANY POWER-SURPLIES ASAP.

Thanks for the replies.

I've had it apart and checked it all out, there's nothing you can actually see. And it's all bone dry, and very clean, now.
It must have fried some of the chips when he tried to turn it on straight away though.

N.B. Case and screen looks like new, but i wouldn't suggest you put a GBA through a wash and dry cycle just to get the greasy finger marks off your screen. LOL

:bye:
