I wonder, what does this sign mean? If somebody guessed, this is from game Heretic (or Hexen, where it is too). I understand, that this could be just a flow of game developers' mind, but anyway. If there IS any real meaning of it, I will be glad to hear an explanation.

It' crossed IE if you look at 90 degree angle. We all know that IE stands for hell on the earth!
