Mouse movement is extremely sloooooooowwwwwwww..... can anything be done about this problem?

You could just try to turn the mouse sensitivity up in control panel - mouse - pointer options.

Are you playing the game in window? Try in fullscreen (DosBox)

I got that too. Turning up mouse sensitivity didn't help. haven't tryed running it on dos box yet though.
