Hmm, somehow I still fail to see the origami connection. Looks more like tangram to me...

Looks more like a tesselation pattern than origami...

maybe a origami net, but not really the finished piece...

Well, you're required to make shapes... but you can't really fold paper, that's why you need to place the tiles correctly. It's making (filling out) shapes that reminds me of the real Origami and the tiles (which do look like paper folded in different shapes).

Here, this is what I meant: Tangram

I know what a tangram is (I had tangrami blocks and I was making all sorts of shapes with them as a kid), but unfortunately the game isn't called Tangramo, so I was looking for reasons it may have been connected to origami.

Origamo
The comment about not being able to save games is not accurate as the game will automatically retain the player's position whenever you exit. Just enter the name you were using when you next restart and the game will return to your last-played screen.

Rather than going into negative points when a puzzle is certain to be lost just hit the Esc key to drop back to the puzzle map and then select that particular puzzle again for another try. If it's just too hard you have the option of moving to another screen without needing to finish all three puzzles in the set.

The soundtrack for this game is both wonderful and entrancing so if you don't get it then it's certainly worth chasing after. Unfortunately with the near endless variations in soundcards and systems there's little worthwhile advice as to what to do. Under Win98 however I found that the Creative upgrade driver set v5.12.01 did not work with this game whereas the earlier v4.12.01 drivers did.

I particularly liked the "partying Buddha" at the end!
