Hey, I can't seem to get the music to work. Sound effects work fine though. Running it in Windows XP. Any ideas??? Thanks.

Better do not run it under XP. Try DosBox. This should do it.

Or did you accidently disable the music. Happended to me...

Thanks for the quick reply. But, I tried in dos box and it said unable to run in dos. Any other suggestions to make the music work? Thanks.

But you are trying to run the original Maniac Mansion and not the "Deluxe" remake, right?

Nope, running Maniac Mansion Deluxe. It runs fine just absolutely no music. I dont know.

if youre using the deluxe version, the sound problem is most propably a windows problem, as the deluxe version IS a windows program, which can NOT be run under any dos- or dos-related OS.

so, concernin g your sound-problem, check your windows sound, (your speakers, too), or, if you DO have sound in windows and just not in the game, you may want to re-install the game.

Try putting the jar of radioactive water in the microwave. Radioactive steam is killer.
