Kickstarter: Shadowrun Returns
Coming on the wake of the success of  Wasteland 2, yet another developer seeks to crowdfund an RPG.On April 4th, Jordan Weisman (Designer of the original Shadowrun PnP) anounced that he would be making "Shadowrun Returns". Set platforms will be PC/Mac/Andriod/iPad, and the game will be “a class-based, 2D, turn-based RPG.” He also said that the game would come with an editor, allowing players to create their own custom campaigns. Class based in Shadowrun, a RPG without classes (of the normal sense that is at least). Could end up being an interesting game, but getting Shadowrun into a game has always been a problem but it is still something to keep an eye on.

I put some money down for it, figured it was worth taking the chance on.
I hope they can deliver something decent, and use that as a springboard for further success. |
