You don't have to have soc_k.exe file!
Just run Install.exe to configure your controls (don't try to install your game, because you can't), and the run Sensible.exe to start the game.  k: |

I downoaded your version, ran the install.exe to set up sound, then ran the sensible.exe file in DOS, but still cant get past the copy-protection bit! I have Win 98 but playing in DOS as u told us to. Very frustrating!

I have tried everything you have suggested on this forum, as have other people, and we still cant get past the copy protection stage. Is there a copy of the manual anywhere that we could get hold of, because all of your copy-protection advice does not work for Win 98...

I don't know what to tell you! You can try to download DOSBox and run the game in it. I managed to get it working on this way!
