When I was a kid, I was (in real life) mistaken for a girl all the time. Probably cause I've had long hair since 6 years old or something. (My brothers had long hair, why couldn't I? :P)

I remember my first days at school. It was weird: My classmates didn't believe I was a boy, not before the teacher assured them that I just had long hair. If the boys and girls were supposed to go to separate groups for some reason, I was always pushed out of the boy group. They didn't mean to be mean, they just didn't really believe I was a boy. They thought it was a joke or something.

This went on for about the first week of school.. Almost every day something like that happening and the teacher telling everyone that I'm not a girl, which they seemed to forget before the next day.

I myself had got used to being mistaken for a girl, so it didn't bother me, or I really didn't even think it was weird at that time.
