![]() I've been all over google trying to figure this one out. How can I answer the phoen using my modem and PC headset?
I bought this thing 2 yrs ago, Zoom Telephonics V.92 Faxmodem 56K model number 3025C. I bought it right before my parents caved and got cable, so I am still tryng to justify purchasing this thing. I want to answer the phone with it. I cannot seem to figure out how to get it to work. It will answer the phone, but I hear nothing, and person on other end barely hears me say hi. I'm using WinXP SP2, fully updated and have put the shortcut to dialer.exe back in the ciommunications folder. I know a bunch fo you still use dial up modems so I'm hoping you will have a few more ideas than the other places i looked. Abandonia = (and yes, my microphone is on!) |
