![]() There was a shareware or maybe freeware DOS game that I played maybe ten years ago. It was packaged on a shareware games compilation CD (like the kind they used to sell at WalMart for $5). The compilation was called "The Complete Encyclopedia of Games" and was put together by a company called Microforum.
The game itself was a beer-themed top-down space shooter in the vein of Galaga. Except instead of flying a spaceship, you controlled a beer bottle that shot bottle caps upward toward enemies that were either beer bottles or big pitchers of beer or weird plate things. I recall some voice in the game and it was all German. So the game may have been German-made. You could spend your points buying "wingmen" which took the form of smaller bottles of beer. And I recall that the background music for the shopping portion of the game was the riff from Pink Floyd's song "Money". Does anybody know what this game is called and if it's available anywhere on the internet? |
