Hence the fact that Ubuntu is n00b friendly/save and therefor gets the "n00bs Linux" mark.
So it's a compliment to Ubuntu.

Is there a specific reason you must go wireless? A router installs in 2 secs in Ubuntu. Plug in, setup adr&pass, done.[/b]

Yes there is.
Not My router.
The WiFi card is LITERALLY the only thing that allows my Desktop to go on line.
So I either install that device in Ubu, or no network in Ubu. <_<
It's that simple.
