Try these things...
- Don't touch the mouse when the intro is playing, and if you skip the intro, hit the spacebar instead of clicking on the mouse. When the main menu comes up, then click the mouse so it's locked into DOSBox. - Hold down the mouse button during the intro, and don't let go until the main menu is up. See if one of them works.
