You'll have to change Windows' resolution, yeah. Program Manager -> Main -> Windows Setup -> Options -> Change System Settings -> Display. Choose 640x480 256 colors (this will be the third option on the list), which is what the game is using.
Probably my fault for making the package use 1024x768 as the standard resolution rather than 640x480 which was probably more common.
