I'm talking about CHESS!
We should play it... Just played couple of games today, and it seems that I still know how to move chess pieces.

I was just thinking about this in the bath - is there a simple way of playing chess online with a specific opponent that anyone knows about, other than setting up a board and playing by email (though that might be fine using IM I suppose) - I'd be up for a few games with you guys. The only trohy I've ever won was for coming 2nd in the Lightning Chess section of the Richmondshire Chess Festival when I was about 15, but I've not gotten a great deal better since then

I use pogo, yahoo and msn chess. At the moment I can't use pogo, but I was able today to play couple of games at yahoo games.

You can create table, and create password for it, so that only person you select and invite can view/play game.

I usually play games around noon (estern US time).

Just remembered, tomorrow I will not be able to play, as I have to drive my inlaws to the airport.

Civ 2 for Turn Based

I like Age of Empires for real time, though I admit I don't play alot of real time. I like to read the map and think things over. but Civ also makes you have to change your plans at times from turn to turn. I just like 2 better because I like the interface and multiplayer ability.

I haven't tried 3 yet in truth, when I do I might change my vote

I haven't played much strategy games, but I feel that all strategy games have some good points to them which makes it impossible for me to decide on any one.

I have only played Age1, Red Alert, Civ1, Colinization, Lords of Magic*, Cyberstorm*.

Age1 and Red Alert were the first strategy games that got me interested in any computer games. Before I never even bother much about getting a computer(I.E. Anything beyond XT), much less games. I remember only wanting to go to a friend's house and play it for even a little.

Just when I got my first windows type computer I saw Andromida**(or was it Alpha Centauri) at my friend's place. It looked good and I promised myself to play it one day...sigh...

Sadly, I don't feel up to playing any type of games at the moment. I recently started Age of Empires II and I am still in Saladin. I hope I get round to playing it again...deeper sigh....

* I don't know if these are strategy games.

** I not sure it's spelled right.

My favourite RTS would have to be Age of Empires 2, but the greatest RTS would have to be StarCraft. I never really got into StarCraft, I played it, I liked it, it was just too fast for me

I do hope they make a StarCraft 2 though.

I never played any of them except Colonization or Civilization, can't remember which one of them I played but I know that I didn't like it, so I am unable to vote.
