Best RPG of all time either goes to Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate 2 or Freelancer (it's an RPG, honest!), depending on what I feel like playing on any given day.

Although the FF series is great(i've only played 'til VI) it seems that everybody is forgeting the Phantasy Star series. My favourite is PS IV. I've played it time and time again :Brain:
And what about Septerra Core?! And a special mention to fallout  |

I'm kinda interested in seeing how well Final Fantasy 12 will perform, it's looking really good so far from what I've seen, maybe this will be the game to revitalize the series once again.

There are, AFAIK console games of both Fallout and Baldur's Gate out. I have played the Baldur's Gate one though and it is awful.
The Fallout one is a straight shooter... ach how low these people have stooped to earn their money. |

The best "Console Style" RPG ever has to be Final Fantasy VII, hands down.

the fallouts were the best rpgs. console style im not sure which is my faveorate. got this fan translated snes one that probably ranks up there. gotta go rummage.
