Chuck:

Nah, I'm actually quite intellectual :P (emoticon for irony...)

@Stroggy

The information thing. I think that what really needs to happen is that people need to be told what to do and what not to do at school and that it needs to be enforced.

None of this 'drugs are bad' lark, people can waste their lives away, no problem to me.

More like violence and stuff. It just seems that nobody gives a muck about if somebody get beaten up at school, even on the street any more.

If people got told that 'violence was wrong' or whatever (with a less crappy tagline, mind) then I think that a lot of problems could be solved.

And if they were violent to somebody then maybe they should get their arms/legs broken so that they can't do it again for a while at least. Maybe it's just me though...

You seem to think it was?

BBC never reported something like that, i'd know, I've forced myself to watch each of their terribly biased documentaries (theys eem to be more neutral now compared to two or three years ago) but even at the peak of their bias they didn't say anything like the insulting nonsense you're spouting.

Whenever he needs an excuse to send in the army
But there have been countless of attempted suicide bombings and attacks by Hamas and the IJ in the last few weeks and days (even with the supposed cease fire) yet Sharon is still not sending in the army, instead he is becoming more and more unpopular by pushing his pullout agenda. Good grief man, wake up!

In order to accomplish... what exactly?

Restrictions on personal freedom. A police state. It's the same in Israel and America.

Look at America: The Patriot Act. Now I am not saying the American government created "9/11" because you wouldn't believe me.

You either haven't read "1984" or you've forgotten most of it.

Why would the Israeli government be any better than the British, American, or... Dutch (remember the Dutch 'policing actions' in Indonesia for Koninklijke Olie).

So you do believe that?

Anyone else notice that Sept 11th happened when the controversy about the 2000 elections reached it's height? And that after it, everyone forgot about the whole Florida thing? It was nothing if not convenient for the Bush administration.

No, never!

I truly believe that on 9/11/2001, four US airliners were hijacked and succesfully flown into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. One plane crashed after the passengers succesfully fought the hijackers. It was not shot down, I repeat, it was not shot down.

Despite the fact that no modern skyscraper has ever collapsed by fire (that building in Madrid burned for days and it didn't collapse), both WTC buildings collapsed almost vertically. Have you ever seen rigged demolitions of tall buildings? You know how much work and preparation is needed to cause buildings to collapse vertically. So it was a sheer coincidence that the WTC towers collapsed like they did. Oh, WTC building 7 also collapsed vertically. Even greater coincidence.

Oh my, the FBI, the CIA and NORAD (air defense) ALL failed on 9/11. In previous times, everytime an airplane would divert from its course, within minutes it would be surrounded by US fighter planes. On 9/11, no fighters reached the airliners in time. Only 14 fighters were on stand-by anyway. Remember that the second plane that hit the WTC appeared 15 minutes after the first plane hit. So if they couldn't intercept the first plane, surely they could have intercepted the seconde, wouldn't you think?

Ah never mind. Like I said, I truly believe that four big airliners could fly around for an hour without NORAD doing anything.

Fortunately, conspiracies do NOT exist in America.

Good thing they always get rid of the evidence within weeks after the fact. Rudy Giuliani made sure that all the steel and rubble was sold and transported to China. I mean, what use would the evidence ever have been when we already know it was Islamic terrorists who hijacked those planes. It would only confuse the public.

But security services around the world warned the US that foreign terorists would try to attack the US, probably using airplanes days before 9/11, so all these security services were wrong, then?

@ MPV

I have a great idea -

Get off www.globalconspiricies.com and think about what you are saying.

'Remove the elite' or whatever is just total crap. So what, there are rich people.

So what, people benefit from wars. Billions of pound's worth of diamonds have been essentially stolen from Sierra Leone and the governments who do it pay maybe 1% of the price that the diamonds are worth.

OMG SOME PEOPLE SOLD STUFF TO HITLER!

So what? He was a reasonably competent, if cruel, leader. He pulled the country through a lot of hard times. They had to make money somehow.

Bush is an alcoholic born-again Christian. So what? I don't really care.

The americans probably did not 'create' "9/11" as you put it, but I'll grant you that they did exploit it. A lot.

They basically used it as a cheap "you're either with us or with them" propaganda campaign. I doubt that the americans directly ordered it though.

And remember kids, it's a fictional critique on modern life. It's not the Bible of how today is being lived.

This may just be the single most intelligent thing I've heard today.

Thanks. It's true though. Don't be swayed by other people's words, MVP. Make your own opinion, but don't make it 'unique', just say what you think.
