actually I believe there is an option to display ads relevant to the forum
in which case it scans the forum for reoccuring words and then displays links connected to a frequent word it found.

So the ads should show up quite a few abandonware or gaming links
and since it also found the word puffin a lot (since it is the name of a member) it displayed a website about puffins.

Either that or someone is doing it on purpous

I think there is also an option to exclude some words from the scan (porn and sex being among others)
again i'm not completely sure

Now we are talking about links that have our name. Try to visit my name site: www.aaberg.no. I always wanted a sniper rifle, so I could go puffin hunting
